Now Or Never By Tim Flannery
  • "Why, Indians ask, should they penalize people living today for future, uncertain gains, and do this to help solve a problem that is not of their creation?" p. 49, Now or Never, by Tim Flannery.
    • Because it will become their problem (if it's not already, e.g. Pakastan flooding in the summer of 2010).
    • Because it will become their children's even graver problem.
    • Because all future gains are uncertain.
    • Because past generations sacrificed for you: now it's your turn to do something for the next generations, even though it's another culture (e.g. the United States) that caused the worst of this.
